History
Our owner, Daniel Overbeek, has always had an interest in the produce industry. In 2006, he started his own produce company. He visited local restaurants in Woodstock and gained his first customers. In February of 2009, he expanded Produce Express by purchasing a local produce delivery company.
Since then, Produce Express has rapidly grown. In July of 2020, we moved to one of our current locations on Innovation Way in Woodstock, Ontario. In December of 2020, Produce Express added another depot located on Fiddlers Green Rd. in Ancaster (inside of Fora Outdoor Living Garden Centre). In January 2021, another depot was added, located on Stover Street in Norwich (also inside Fora Outdoor Living Garden Centre).
What We Do
We offer our Produce Catalog for individuals and families to shop safely and easily online, and provide a reliable delivery and pick up service. We are also a produce wholesaler that provides restaurants, schools, and other establishments with fresh produce. Our produce is purchased from local growers and the Ontario Food Terminal.

Frequently Asked Questions
When local produce is available, we strive to have it on our shelf. We partner with local farmers and businesses to provide you with local produce and products throughout the different seasons. If you would like to know if an item is local, look for the green banner on our catalog that states which items are local!
No. Many schools and businesses find this to be the most efficient way to order but ordering by the case is not mandatory. You can also order by the pound or by single product quantity.
There is a order minimum for wholesale delivery $100. If you don’t meet the minimum feel free to come by and pickup your order. For retail there is no minimum required!
Yes, we guarantee the quality of our produce. If you are not completely satisfied, please contact us. We take pride in keeping our customers happy!

If you are a wholesale customer, you can order over the phone (519-539-9333), through texting (519-636-2029), or by emailing us (sales@fresherproduce.ca). Schools can place their order through our online ordering system.
If you are shopping on our Produce Catalog, and are looking to get your order delivered, the latest you can place your order is the day before your desired delivery date. If you are looking to pick – up, you can place your order a day before at the latest, and if you are picking up in Woodstock, you can even order for same day pick – up! (Depending on availability)
For wholesale customers, if your order includes items that we stock on our shelves, you can place your order the day before your delivery date. If you would like to order specialty items, please order these at least two days in advance.
If you are a retail customer, you can enter your credit or visa debit card after you choose your produce and we will charge your card.
If you are a wholesale customer, once you have received your order, payment is due. You can make a payment via cheque, e-transfer, or direct deposit.
If you are a retail customer, your order will be delivered on the date that you’ve selected, between 8 a.m. -5 p.m. Please ensure that you are home at time of delivery. In the event that you are not home, our delivery driver will place your order at your door. You will receive emails updating you on the ETA of your delivery, and you will also receive an email notifying you when your order has been delivered!
